WARMING UP
In the last 15 games Miroslav Satan has been warming up the offensive boosters. He has seven goals and 11 assists in the last 15 games including atewo gaols (one short handed) and an assist in the Sabres 5-2 win vs. San Jose (12/23). Earlier in the weekm he scored the game tying goal in the third period of a 2-2 tie @ Washington (12/20). After 33 games this season, Miro is second on the team in scoring with 27 points (11+16) and has a team high 16 assists. He had his team season high seven game point streak ended in the Sabres 3-2 win vs. Florida (12/16). Satan had extended the streak to seven games with a goal and an assist @ Carolina (12/15). Although he has been getting some good opportunities through out the season, the puck had not been going in for him until recently. BUT NOT TO WORRY! The last two seasons Miro has not gotten off to the best of starts but has come back strong to lead the team in goals each of the last two seasons. After the Sabres 33rd game in 1998-99, Satan had 16 goals and 13 assists for 29 points in 32 games played. He finished that year with a personal best 40 goals and 26 assists. Last season was more of the same. After 33 team games in 1999-2000 Miro had appeared in 32 games and posted 14 goals and seven assists for 21 points. He finished last season with a career high 67 points (33+34).

THE DEVIL DID IT
After a four point night in the Sabres 5-1 win over the New Jersey Devils (2/15) Miroslav Satan is now on a five game point streak and has ten points in the last seven games (5+5). Satan scored a shorthanded goal, an even strength goal and had two power play assists in the win over the Devils, bringing his team high season point total to 48 (21+27). At his current pace, Miro is on track to score 30 goals and finish with over 60 points for the third consecutive season. He led the team in goal scoring each of the last two season with 40 in 1998-99 and 33 last season and has led the team in total scoring two of the last three seasons. After a career high 40 goals and 66 points (40+26) in 1998-99, Miro followed that up by doing one better, totaling 67 points last season on 33 goals and a career high 34 assists.



This season, the Sabres have a new radio home. Games can be heard locally on 107.7 FM WNSA. As in the past, the radio broadcast will be simulcast of the Empire Sports Network television broadcasts. Here is a list of the 2000-01 Sabres Radio Network:
